How far would you go?

How far would you go?

Okay, so I’ll ask you now. What’s your limit? How far will you actually go if ‘motivated’ correctly? How much would you hurt someone, or condone that hurt, to protect those you love? How far would you go to preserve your own well being and that of those you love? And when does this cross the line and become too far?

Taking Advice – The Good, the Bad and the Ugly Truth.

There comes a time in every writer’s life when, whether we like it or not, we are offered advice. For me the difference between ‘good’ and ‘bad’ has little to do with the advice, or suggestion, itself. Instead whether the advice is good or bad, depends entirely on how I perceive it and how I am able to deal with it. I suppose, also, that this may philosophically translate into every day life? Traditions – Warming the Bell

At University of Portsmouth we were asked to produce a short story dealing with some kind of tradition.  The idea was given and the piece produced quite quickly (approx 30 minutes). I fell back on my Naval Background and the short story I wrote is below entitled – Warming the Bell

The Mutation of Respect

Do you remember school like I do? A haze of good times, great friends and stories that I love to recount after a beer to just about anyone who’ll listen.

Or do you remember it as a hell of hard work, strict teachers and those annoying kids that just wouldn’t leave you be?

Welcome to www.mightyjock.co.uk

Hello and thank you very much for taking the time to view my website.  Hopefully I’ll be able to convince you that it’s worth your time to come again and watch the site grow with me.

So, I’ve been promising myself for a while that I will come out of the closet and admit to those people that don’t already know that I write and that I want to eventually get published.
